Again three almost identical visuals don’t make a campaign. There is definitely something cool to the idea, But I think just the one shot would have been stronger and cheaper. They are just the same. Not much on photography side here it’s not an amazing visual just an idea.

Also the lower right hand side pats kid of pushes the concept in to cheesiness. This would have been perfectly in some part of the plentiful copy space or even without the background just on white I think.

This idea can be used in other better placements.

Really funny idea and execution, perhaps this will not do so well for the brand image unless it’s for a more liberal audience. Really good ‘domestic’ lighting look, its not while domestic looking but that is what makes that much better. This is how we see the lighting as oppose to what it really is. Love the casting for this also, this would not work the same way with a pretty boy here. What else can you clean at the same time as your teeth? Do try this at home; you know as creepy as it looks I kind of want one.

United Way, Sex education may be a good idea in the schools, but I don’t believe the kids should be given homework.

Social services ad playing on public fear. I think most do, it’s the easy and true rote. But really this means they are trying to test your convince not inspire or even better to educate. Its exactly like the “Every time you masturbate; God kills a kitten” thing.

Well the message and the visuals are quite tight. I am not sure why the contrast is so dull here; it just does not pop at all. I hope that was someone’s intension all along. I suppose its all about the prop designer and the creative idea.

Nice textures light but still really simple. It’s almost like somewhere between beauty and long lighting. Quite visually interesting, but what is the newspaper trying to say. The headline does not help, it’s a question also. Perhaps that is the point, intentional or not.

Great desaturated pinky colour look here and really good retouching. Nothing new but a solid outdoor print. It’s clean, snappy and quite pleasant for real world. Like the models and the styling is just right for bread and butter advertising. Interesting thing is they made the effort to fluff and blur the hair and tie but shoelaces weren’t in the budget?

The biggest selling point of this campaign is Denis Rodman, so it is all about him here. The full body shot is quite awesome. Love the energy and the character here. Kind of funny to see Rodman back in the light, he is a bit of lower culturally relevance than he was a decade ago. Not unwelcome, Denis is quite awesome and will be quite fun if they let him have his way on this surreality show.

Also of copy space and a long tiny message.

Good idea here but I am not so sure about the execution. The digital post-production still just does not look right putting this all together. Don’t get me wrong it’s not bad at all but it just does not look well blended.

Alka Seltzer has done a lot of advertising champagnes, they usually have really great ideas but the execution is somewhat lacking here.
