Videocon Washing Machines, deceptively simple yet great

Videocon Washing Machines: Sewage

Videocon Washing Machines: Dumping

Videocon Washing Machines: Chimney

Laundry comes from a sewage pipe and ends up as clean and shiny sewage, is that a local thing there? It does look great though; I do think its quite good photography in this ad. Doesn’t the washing powder get the dirt out? – the washing machine just gets things wet and spins it about. This is like if you put a wine/oil/blood stained white shirt in the wash with a dash of water then it will get it pristine clean. But like I said, they do look good.

Honda: Collision control

Honda: Intelligent traction

Honda: Lighting system

Looks Beautiful, but wtf? Please do not take LSD and drive, but if you do drop acid and drive, drive Honda. Honda must be a really fun client to work with if this is were the are happy to go. The whole campaign is quite clever. Shows dangerous situations in a funky way, so it’s not harsh but accessible. Excellent campaign!

Dazed & Confused Magazine, I am dazed ‘n confused… is there an idea in this?

Not a bad concept and maybe quite good on a billboard size and not too high off the ground but for smaller print ads just too complicated to look at. TV is probably better. From the image point of view I really like the complexity even if the idea is not all that apparent. Still there is definitely a great story in the shots, perhaps could have been less dazed about it.

Fluffy monkey puke… I think it gets the point across quite effectively without being disgusting. Great ad; I want to go. The Turtle is perhaps the weakest copy, it just does not communicate as swiftly as the other four do.

Actually I first thought it was one of these big headed aliens. This is where major amusement parks wouldn’t dare to go. These guys know exactly who they’re talking to. Sick, twisted, crazy ads for sick, twisted and crazy thrill seekers.

Sunsilk: Wash out greasy

Sunsilk, Wash out flatty

Sunsilk Wash out greasy

Sunsilk, wash out your hair monsters. This here is what happens when you try to flush your dead pet fish or hamster. It than clog the sink and your plumber/housemate/boyfriend gets it out all converted in fur balls and brazilian. So use Sunsilk, be kind to plumbers and save the world. Nice retouching on the colour and tone in the bathrooms, super light warm and not clinical.

Pretty cool ad, bright, well retouched visuals on this ad campaign. Images are quite simple with plenty of details. It must be quite good to show on the web as thumbnails thanks to relatively simple layout. But what is it with a comb in the puffy pants? It is for his man-zilian? I think the other ads would work well with one of these rip off phone number tags that you get on street notice boards or something.

I am all up for crazy ideas. Somewhat flawed, so what.

Tooth fairy, Car jacke

Listerine Toothpaste: The put the tooth fairy out of business campaign. I think I have seen this before. Product is so good it puts some out of business, that’s an old gag. But hey its advertising and it is done really well here. Also I think a tooth fairy only takes teeth that have dropped out when quite young so it has little to do whether you brush your teeth or not.

Maybe they could have had a hobo at the pearly gates or something. The consumer will get it, that is the point though.

Great photography and lighting here and beautiful images. Really love the car jacker, this one is absolutely awesome. Plenty of retouching.
