Not much on the photography side but the idea is really clear and direct, perhaps even ever so slightly cute and funny. I thin it’s a really good brief, so the copy could have been much better. Look at the images, they are really sweet. The doll idea is a bit Kama Sutra than children yoga thing, or is it just me?

What do you think of this public interest ad? It seems well directed and poignant, dark and disturbing. Great neon retouching job really looks the part. It’s a strong message but it really captures on the first look, literal & effective.

Oh, and by the way, stay away from my children you bad, bad man!

Bazooka gum Crash, Bubblegum ads are always pink?

Bazooka gum: Crash

Great, funny and direct, you don’t even need a copy here. I think GoaFest did this also or perhaps did this second (Ford Fiesta 1998, did the bubblegum airbag also) but no were near to this execution. This one is cute and really fantastic photography.

The photography/production is nice. The urban detail is great and just enough. The fill is quite graphic and the colour tone is slightly “harsh daylight urban green”. That’s all ill say.

Honda Motor, What the hell?

Copy reads: Super-Save Fuel. 126 km/litter. The warm tone is quite nice and the shadows are lifted well but what the hell with the messy shot and the Dutch tilt on the photo? Just not cool. At least it’s not too boring. Maybe they could have gone much further is they came this fare. Something to do with bikes, bats and monkeys; all doing the people thing or the other way around. Maybe.

This was shot at a landfill about an hour north of Los Angelis. The thing is in LA minors are not avowed to work/film in any dangerous work environment, well not someplace like this. So this was shot twice, once at this toxic landfill without the talent and again with the kids but at another location with a few key garbage pieces imported from the land-fill.

I do quite like it from an image point of view. But some people find this too tame, I don’t particularity think having children among the garbage will help the ad. The photos really push the human thing now idea driven by Photoshop.

I guess the first campaign went really well. So they did another. Really heavy retouching reinforcing Maxim look. I liked the previous ad for this reason. I just hate the uber retouched look. Still a hot, well produced campaign.

Other than crappy retouching the photography is cool. Well lit, great models, eye catching, sexy attitude. It’s just great for the legions that are proudly trashy, sleazy and repulsive. Sex for the sake of sex would not even care what they are selling.

Nice work here, I think it makes you stop a second here and that is great for an ad. I am not so sure about buying this product but hey, the made you look. In itself the ad campaign is funny and shows a bit of skin, 2 elements that sell.
Photography is quite stylized hard but well lit. Real people casting is really well done. The girl, the boy and the caveman. The only think I would like to see is a little variance in the shot concept but perhaps that would not reinforce the concept so much nor the uncomfortable humor.
