“Open your eyes to saturated fat.”

Nothing like a guilt trip to enlighten consumers. But seriously have you ever tired telling someone not to ear that chocolate truffle desert after dinner once they order it? Other than that the images are quite unsetteling just in the right way. The copy “Open your eyes to saturated fat” seems too straight forward, I don’t know. Maybe that can be better or at least work better with the photography.

I do really like the butter image. It quite subtle and absolutely disturbing, perhaps more than the other three for some reason.

Still the steak looks really tempting, I think it is doable. Just poke it with a stick is my solution.

You don’t have brakes? You’re a criminal? You’re a stuntman? Choose Vespa. Fit perfectly between walking and a real motorbike, but we will not go there.

Subtly funny stuff, turns you to do some dangerous stunts, I love it.

Just thinking about this, I thing Vespa always had a more romantic mood and a little less mischievous, perhaps the two are compatible. Alternatively it’s a new direction for Vespa, I don’t know.

In Italy they all drive their scooters like madmen. Great art. Great line. Cool ad.

“Children can learn many things on the Internet. IG Parental Control. Make the Internet a safe place.”

IG Parental Control ads seemed really funny and cool until it hit me that it is an internet browsing control software. Somehow we never find it funny when kids and ‘danger’ is involved I suppose it is a good thing. Children have no rights to freedom of information or speech I guess. Just like Google China.

Also it is a commercial product masking as a community ad. I am not too sure how I feel about that, but it does make these ads stronger. A very compelling message for this product.

You see the nude cow is just like the internet. It is the sex education of choice for the under aged masses now an not in a good way. How that is like I cow I do not know but perhaps sex education can be better explained then a hard core porn fetish site.

I really want that cow… not ‘like that’ I should add.

‘Chevrolet 4×4 cuts through terrain’, not bad but also not nesseserally will work for everyone. Then again perhaps it will work just fine for the target market of the 4×4 Chevrolet. Another good one from Brazil, actually I am seeing allot of good advertising work lately from Brazil advertising agencies. Pretty cool art direction. Rough earthy still life photography, seamless, low tech but quite right to the subject I think.

Nice ads; nice ideas.

“Warm clothing is like a part of the body. You can’t live without it.
This winter donate.”

Really outstanding in social campaign, execution really grabbed me. I do think the copy is a little harsh but perhaps it’s the direct translation. There is this really cool, striking visual approach that is almost too much. Perhaps this ad would be too squeamish for some random product (tampons or condoms?) but you know it is a social ad, a little less sugar is quite ok when asking to help.

I guess this kind of robots don’t need batteries. It’s just like sex life of Rupert Murdock, I just don’t care. Just enjoy it guys, the idea is great, shows benefit and the conflict and it’s a nice little visual.

Nice little prop set, cute execution but not over the top. You have to admit it it’s a nice little ad. Nothing ground braking, sure. I wonder how much does it cost to build that set for the props builder?
