A New York state man wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the words “I’m a drunk” was charged with driving while drunk after he ploughed into a police car that was on drink-driving patrol. Kevin Daly, 22, of Coram, was wearing the T-shirt that read “I’m not an alcoholic. I’m a drunk. Alcoholics go to meetings” when arrested. The cop Daly hit was treated for minor injuries.

A New Yorker described a decision to allow her to be buried with her beloved dog and cats as “like an early Christmas present”. The state’s cemetery board decided human ashes can be buried in Westchester’s Hartsdale Pet Cemetery, where Rhona Levy’s pets are interred.
The board is set to allow such burials at all its pet cemeteries.
A Chicago strip club is offering free lap dances this week to customers who donate toys for poor children. The Admiral Theatre is running its Lap Dances for the Needy event until Sunday. Toys must be new and donors will only receive one lap dance per visit, regardless of how many toys they donate.
A London bar has installed a urine-controlled video game in its toilets. Drinkers can enjoy a spot of simulated skiing or extinguish virtual flames while relieving themselves at The Exhibit bar in Balham. Sensors detect the direction of urine and translate it into action on a screen. There is also the Clever Dick quiz, in which players pee in the right direction to select answers.

Matt Houchen, 32, was stunned to be told to take down his Norwich City emblem after a member of the public complained. West Norfolk Council staff warned him last week that flying the $15 flag was unauthorised advertising.
