A Chinese man has finally has been diagnosed of a decades-old stomach ache a surgical clamp left inside his belly 37 years ago. Medics had failed to remove the 10cm device after a 1974 operation for a stomach ulcer and the patient had been on pain medication ever since.

But an X-ray was finally taken on July 17 at the hospital in Hubei Province and the culprit immediately spoiled.
