Roberto Cavalli decides to go a little Greek with his Spring/Summer 2008 advertising campaign, choosing Kate Moss, Daria Werbowy and Eva Herzigova as the faces for his ads.

Photographed by Inez & Vinoodh, the campaign is a little hard to get a feel for. Perhaps it is a little too much like Dali paintings but it is growing on me somewhat. It does have a strange vibe but also a bit flowing and an energetic, well as much yoga can be.

This time Roberto softens up his designs and his ads still exude this fierce sexuality… come to think of this the models look like they are kind off smacked out, it’s like the heroin chick but more beautiful and less hungry.

The collection has a seventies feel and the ads emphasize that retro aura. The images suggest a seventies roof party featuring three botticelli-esque beauties: Daria Werbowy, Eva Herzigova and Kate Moss. The pool’s neon shades reflect onto those superb, floating dresses, complementing the rich colour palette.
